Setting Up Your First Property
A step-by-step guide to adding your first property to SuperNest and configuring it for guest invites.
## Getting started with SuperNest
This guide walks through the required steps for setting up your first property and preparing it for guest invites.
Step 1: Create your account
Open the SuperNest download page and use the available app-store link or waitlist fallback for your device. Once you have access to the app, tap "I'm a Host" and create your account using email, Apple Sign-In, or Google.
Step 2: Add your property
From the dashboard, tap "Add Property" and enter your property address. SuperNest will verify the location and set up your property profile.
Step 3: Enter property details
Fill in the essential information:
- Property name and description
- Check-in and checkout times
- Maximum guests and bedrooms/bathrooms
- Wi-Fi network name and password
- Access method (lockbox code, smart lock, key handoff)
- Parking instructions
- House rules
Step 4: Build your house guide
Add sections to your house guide that guests will see in the app:
- How-to instructions (thermostat, TV, appliances)
- Amenities list with descriptions
- Troubleshooting tips for common issues
- Emergency contacts
Step 5: Add local recommendations
Curate your top restaurant, activity, and experience picks. These appear in the guest's Explore tab with your personal endorsement badge.
Step 6: Configure automation
Review and customize the default 7-step message sequence. Adjust timing, edit templates, and set your brand tone (warm, professional, casual, or luxury).
Step 7: Activate and invite
Once your completeness score reaches 100% for safety-critical fields, activate your property. You can now invite guests for upcoming reservations.
